Designed in Europe and rooted in decades of experience on the ground in Afghanistan, our carpets preserve centuries-old hand-spun, hand-knotted techniques.
Each fibre is natural, carefully chosen and dyed with up to 100% vegetable colour dyes, honouring tradition while serving contemporary interiors of today, tomorrow and beyond.

Every Rica Basagoiti carpet is made with fibres chosen for beauty, resilience, and the way they age over time — hand-spun and knotted by traditional artisans.
Nawur Wool
Unlike dry or over-processed wool, our lanolin-rich Nawur wool retains natural oils giving greater colour dying depth so they age gracefully over time.
Camel Hair
A rare, warm fibre with a naturally luminous tone — sourced from the Balkh region and woven for depth, durability, and quiet luxury.
Herati Silk
Fine Afghan silk from Herat, selected for its gentle sheen and elegant definition — bringing light and glimmer to every carpet
Vegetable Dyes
Coloured with plants and roots, not chemicals — including pomegranate and walnut — for a layered, living palette that gets better with time
